HISTORY

Robohontas debuted as a Wordpress blog in January of 2011. Initially, an image taken with the Instagram app was paired with text via Photoshop, then posted on the blog. Below are some examples of this earliest format. There were LOTS of these type of images!

The next evolution was to plain images in a square format that were posted on the blog with accompanying text. In this case the text was not attached to the photo. Here are some examples of these photographs:

For a brief period, the photos were again paired directly with handwritten text via Photoshop.

But eventually, that went away. Instead of a specific format, the photographs were again posted with accompanying text that was not included in the image. The images also varied in that they were not always taken in a square format. Here are examples of the pictures posted through spring of 2015 when the website changed from a photoblog only, to the new and current format.
